Working definition
Semantic resonance begins with an observable relationship between meanings. The recurrence is evidence. Its cause remains a question.
The field of study
An idea appears in one place, then a structurally related idea appears elsewhere. The connection may involve recommendation systems, shared culture, interpersonal influence, convergent thought, coincidence, or mechanisms we have not described yet.
This room preserves the artifact, timing, conceptual link and plausible explanations so wonder and rigour can coexist.

These statements are not interchangeable. They share a conceptual skeleton: an external act that may look affirming—being chosen or being seen—does not by itself establish genuine value, care, autonomy or right relationship.
Both separate recognition from the deeper ethical relationship that recognition can falsely imply.
Chosen/value concerns worth and selection; seen/managed concerns visibility, agency and control.
The platform may have inferred relevant interests or language patterns from prior behaviour and delivered a statistically likely match.
Cultural convergence, chance, interpersonal ripple effects and other hypotheses remain available until evidence distinguishes them.
